PRAYER GROUP<br />
What is a prayer group?<br />
A group of persons:- Where all have space word task. Coming<br />
together to make a path to meeting God - Called by the Spirit-In the<br />
name of Jesus, which guarantees his presence in their midst<br />
(Mt 18.19-10) - Learn to say... Our Father<br />
- In communion with the Church (CEC 2689). And they feel the need to<br />
give away what they have received for free. The gift becomes<br />
ecclesial task. The prayer group is bound to become a community,<br />
if it is always as a group prayer it is like a bleeding that has to stop.<br />
What is the prayer group about?<br />
The group offers the closeness and support of others to discover the<br />
community dimension of Christian life, with each brother and sister is<br />
a gift. It is what Santa Teresa calls "having each others back."<br />
A sign of the times. Committed groups, with good representation<br />
of lay abound. It is a gift from the Spirit to the Church.<br />
They gather in one place, and the Spirit unites their souls. Together<br />
hear the Word of God. They let the life of God through each other in an<br />
atmosphere of joy. They share the gifts,<br />
persevere in these meetings and the Lord blesses.<br />
What God calls each person to?<br />
God tirelessly calls each person to that mysterious encounter with Him<br />
Prayer accompanies the entire history of salvation as a<br />
reciprocal call between God and man. The group is placed in the plane<br />
of grace and is known inhabited by the mystery of God.<br />
The Spirit makes the unit in the event. Disappear personal limelight.<br />
It is not enough to talk about Jesus, we must talk with Jesus first.<br />

God's people who share the mission of Jesus Christ and are guided by<br />
the Holy Spirit (Jn 14:12,13).<br />
What is required to participate in a prayer group?<br />
Only, to hear the call that is made, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus<br />
Christ and come to common prayer:<br />
"Behold I stand at the door and knock" (Rev 3:21)<br />
Who leads a prayer group?<br />
It is our Lord Jesus Christ who leads through the Holy Spirit, and leads<br />
us to praise and glorify our Father God. But they forget themselves to<br />
praise God, using praise, reflecting biblical passages<br />
and living the gospel daily in the community.<br />
"Praise with example and talk if necessary" (Padre Pio).<br />
Is it very important that you have experience?<br />
"Our world is more tightly bound to witnesses than to teachers" (Paul VI).<br />
What is growth?<br />
The group is always on the go needs to grow, develop, it is not about<br />
the group praying, but the prayer creating a group, create a<br />
community, and it is necessary to grow in faith for God's services.<br />
Purpose of the Month:<br />
This month pray, talk to God a moment every morning and every night,<br />
Try to live your whole day thinking that God is with you,<br />
who sees you and you always listen, ask what he wants from you<br />
and what It is your mission.<br />
