On behalf of the <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Investigating</strong> <strong>Unit</strong>, established by Proclamation R118 of 2001 in terms of Section 2 of Act 74<br />
of 1996, it gives me great pleasure hereby to submit to you the annual report for the period <strong>2004</strong>/<strong>05</strong> as envisaged by<br />
Section 4(1)(h) of Act 74 of 1996.<br />
The report provides an overview of the SIU’s performance, financial status and achievements during the year under<br />
