Tool configuration cartridge for defined surface, 75°<br />

1. Insert cartridges<br />

into the body.<br />

2. Screw in the<br />

clamping screws<br />

(RH), and tighten<br />

to 10 Nm.<br />

3. Screw in the<br />

adjusting screws<br />

(RH), and<br />

tighten to 3 Nm.<br />

4. Determine which<br />

cartridge is in the<br />

highest axial<br />

position.<br />

5. By turning the<br />

adjusting screws<br />

to the right, adjust<br />

the remaining<br />

cartridges for<br />

even running.<br />

Max. permitted<br />

run-out error<br />

Tool configuration universal cartridge + roughing cartridge (ratio approx. 1:1), 75°<br />

1. Insert universal<br />

cartridges into<br />

every second<br />

seating in the<br />

body.<br />

2. Screw in the<br />

clamping screws<br />

(RH), and tighten<br />

to 10 Nm.<br />

3. Screw in the<br />

adjusting screws<br />

(RH), and tighten<br />

to 3 Nm.<br />

4. Determine<br />

which cartridge<br />

is in the highest<br />

axial position.<br />

5. By turning the<br />

adjusting screws<br />

to the right,<br />

adjust the<br />

remaining<br />

cartridges for<br />

even running.<br />

3 µm.<br />

6. Insert roughing<br />

cartridges into<br />

the remaining<br />

seatings.<br />

7. Screw in the<br />

clamping<br />

screws (RH),<br />

and tighten to<br />

10 Nm.<br />

8. Screw in the<br />

adjusting<br />

screws (RH),<br />

and tighten to<br />

3 Nm.<br />

Use cartridges KSCMCA75UN and KSCMCA75HR.<br />

SLOTTING / HELICAL<br />

Note:<br />

The process must be repeated when the cartridges are changed.<br />

To dismantle, remove the adjusting element (Part 3), clamping screw<br />

(Part 2), and cartridge (Part 1).<br />
