CHAMBER
Dear Neighbors,
The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer the 2012 Business
and Community Guide. This guide serves as a premium resource for local business,
government, and educational information.
From a snowy winter, record breaking heat in July, to a unprecedented earthquake and
hurricane in the same week of August, it goes without saying that 2011 has certainly
presented itself with many challenges and problems facing local business. Not to mention
the slow recovery of the economy! One thing that businesses and neighbors can count
on, is the continued support for local businesses in our community through the Chamber
of Commerce. Through many programs provided by the Chamber, including Support
Unlimited Network groups, trade fairs, business mixers and many more, the Chamber has
been there no matter what challenges our local businesses faces.
I truly appreciate the opportunity to serve as the 2011 President and 2012 Chairman of the
Board of the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce. It has been a wonderful and
memorable experience to work side by side with our members and local business owners. However, without the dedication
of our CEO, Linda Zahn, none of this would be possible. Linda has organized and executed the true meaning of a strong
local Chamber of Commerce. Her tireless commitment to the community and local businesses goes without saying.
Sincerely,
Dana Eckert, Assistant Vice President
