XTERRA Austria in his first ever XTERRA last year.<br />

RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Finished 32nd in the<br />
2004 Olympics cross-country mountain bike race while<br />
representing Austria. Had the fastest bike split and placed<br />
second at Ironman 70.3 Monaco this year. Had the third<br />
best bike split (4:30:05) and finished 25th overall at Ironman<br />
World Championship this year.<br />
LAST YEAR: Won XTERRA Austria and was second by<br />
just 34 seconds at the XTERRA World Championship.<br />
THIS YEAR: Placed 6th at XTERRA Italy and 3rd at<br />
XTERRA Czech Championship.<br />
MAUI PASTS: Placed second last year. Posted the second<br />
fastest bike split and closed to within seconds of eventual<br />
winner Ruben Ruzafa on the run.<br />

RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 2004 Canadian Olympic<br />
Team Member (finished 39th in triathlon event at 2004<br />
Olympic Games in Athen’s).<br />
2005: Finished 2nd in first ever XTERRA at Temecula, was<br />
2nd in Richmond as well, placed 5th in Milwaukee, and was<br />
13th in Tahoe due to mechanicals. Placed 4th in XTERRA<br />
U.S. Pro standings, and was 3rd at Worlds .<br />
2006: Finished second by just 44 seconds to Olympic gold<br />
medalist Hamish Carter at XTERRA New Zealand. Won<br />
the first two U.S. races of the season at Temecula, CA and<br />
Pelham, AL. Finished 2nd to Stoltz in Richmond, was 3rd in<br />
Milwaukee, 11th at the XTERRA USA Championship and<br />
2nd in the U.S. Pro Series (needed a 7th or better to win<br />
Series but was slowed with a flat tire).<br />
LAST YEAR: Had the fastest swim and run splits and<br />
finished third overall at XTERRA Worlds, his only XTERRA<br />
of the season and first since Maui 2006.<br />
MAUI PASTS: Finished 3rd with fastest swim (18:13) and<br />
run (43:18) splits. Placed 6th in 2006, and 3rd in ‘05 in first<br />
Maui race when he posted the fastest swim time (19:42)<br />
and run time (44:01).<br />
