Mothers and Children (MAC) Program/Nutrition Assistance
Program for Seniors (NAPS)
This program provides supplemental food and nutrition education to eligible postpartum
mothers and children until the age of six. It also provides supplemental food to Elders age
65 and older who qualify under the income guidelines. This program is sponsored by Second

Communicable Disease Follow-Up
Through this program, a Public Health Nurse contacts clients who have been diagnosed with
a communicable disease to assure that they have received the proper course of medication
and to prevent further health problems.
