Project Jumpstart<br />
Project Jumpstart is an early defibrillation program that provides access to A.E.D.s (portable<br />
defibrillators) at the assisted living units, schools, and clinics in all three districts. Law<br />
enforcement, health care, and emergency response individuals are trained to use A.E.D.s.<br />
Public Safety Scholarship Program<br />
The Public Safety Department <strong>of</strong>fers one scholarship annually to a qualified <strong>Band</strong> member<br />
who is majoring in criminal justice and is in his or her second year at an accredited college.<br />
