The boring distancefor the hinge cup is moved to 14mm inorder to clear the lip on the door. To accomplish thisrequires the use of the 394/394x hingewith the 135º reduction clip installed.The baseplate is 8.0mm for use on16mm (5/8") or 19mm (3/4") panels. Thecup drilling distance would be 3-4mm,measured from the edge of the 45-degree cut. This application has beentested on 5/8" and 3/4" stockthicknesses. Reveal on 3/4" material is3-4mm unless relief cut is made on frontedge of side panel.
