One hinge system to cover all applications.Tiomos provides movement systems for virtuallyevery application.Tiomos is not a revamp of anexisting hinge system but anevoutionary new development.The product range provides perfectmovement for virtually every application,from standard doors to wide angle doors,from diagonal corner hinges to pie cutcorner hinges, in both frameless andface frame applications. The Tiomos isoffered in a Self-close version or a Softcloseversion, in a 42mm boring pattern,45mm boring pattern, and the tool-lessImpresso in a 42/45mm pattern. TIOMOS HINGE SYSTEMOne hinge system featuring a multitude ofinnovative aspects.Soft-close technology is concealedwithin the hinge arm.Three levels of closing pressure areavailable with the Tiomos adjustableSoft-close mechanism, which is fullyintegrated and concealed in the hingearm. The hinges arrive with theadjustment lever in the horizontalposition. A turn to the left or the rightwill adjust the Soft-close mechanism toyour individual requirements.Perfect alignment with a twist ofthe hand.For fine adjustment, the Tiomos hingesystem offers three dimensionaladjustment. Depth adjustment(+3/-2mm) is based on the worm gearprinciple and is continuous and selflocking.Depending on the type of baseplate chosen, height adjustment(± 2.5mm) can be achieved via a wormgear or through elongated holes. Sideadjustment (± 2mm) is on thehinge arm.The new kinematics inside Tiomos.The complex inner workings of thishigh-tech hinge are hidden from view,but they are most impressive whenworking as one. With the newkinematics in place the doors areextremely easy to open. And thismechanism makes alignment with thesmallest of gaps and reveals possibleopening up new possibilities to cabinetdesigners.For stronger damping action,turn the adjustment leverby 90° to the right.Tiomos hinges leave the factorywith the adjustment lever in thehorizontal position.For a gentler closing action, theadjustment lever of the Soft-close damperis turned to the left by 90°.5
