As you read this edition of theNorthlander the first 30 days of the NewYear have passed already. It seems thattime is moving faster as I get older (Iwonder how many of you feel the sameway). Recently I was around my familyand the younger members seemed soeager for birthdays that held with them“adult” responsibilities while those thatare nearing their thirtieth do not seem soanxious that the years fly by. The importantthing seems to be to remember tomake some “fun” every day.I bring up the subject of birthdaysbecause this year North Country Regioncelebrates its thirtieth year. It is nice tosay that we still have some of the chartermembers within the region. Northlanderwill highlight some of the history of theregion as well as some of the activecharter members throughout the year.
