If you are using A-B guidelines for cablinginstallation, treat the cable as a Category 2 cable. It can be installed in conduit along with other low powercabling such as communication cables and low power ac/dc I/O lines. It cannot be installed in conduit with acpower lines or high power ac/dc I/O lines.• To reduce or eliminate the influence of electrical noise on the system, the step and direction cable shieldsmust be connected to chassis ground terminals 13 or 14. Also, the shields must be connected to only one endof the cable run and treated as conductors at any junctions.
