Our engineers are continually working onnew designs to improve performance in a variety of applications.During the development process, new product prototypesare put through rigorous testing in our spray laboratories. Fortesting our descaling nozzles, we even developed a unique measuringdevice to obtain the performance data we required.Our impact tester collects data in two axes. The load cell firstmoves to the outside of the spray pattern. Then it transversesthrough the spray, taking measurements at intervalsalong the way. The load cell keeps going back andforth through the spray until the entire spray area hasbeen covered. When the test is complete, a data matrixis available for further analysis.In addition to using our impact tester in our ownresearch and development, we use it frequently whenworking with customers to troubleshoot spray problemsor in proof-of-concept testing for specializedrequirements.This display shows a 3-D image of the datataken.
