APPROVED RULEShigher distribution system and havesatisfactorily completed anB-Distribution school conducted bythe Board and shall hold a certificate<strong>of</strong> completion <strong>of</strong> trench shoringtraining conducted by the Board; or(b) Have one year <strong>of</strong> acceptableexperience at a Class C or higherdistribution system while holding aGrade C-Distribution certificate andhave satisfactorily completed aB-Distribution school conducted bythe Board.(10) GRADE C-DISTRIBUTION shall hold acertificate <strong>of</strong> completion <strong>of</strong> trench shoringtraining conducted by the Board and shall:(a) Be a college graduate with abachelor's degree in the physical ornatural sciences, or be a graduate <strong>of</strong> atwo year technical program with adiploma in water and wastewatertechnology, have three months <strong>of</strong>acceptable experience at a Class C orhigher distribution system and havesatisfactorily completed anC-Distribution school conducted bythe Board, or(b) Be a high school graduate orequivalent, have six months <strong>of</strong>acceptable experience at a Class D orhigher distribution system and havesatisfactorily completed aC-Distribution school conducted bythe Board.(11) GRADE D-DISTRIBUTION shall be a highschool graduate or equivalent, have threemonths <strong>of</strong> acceptable experience at adistribution system, and have satisfactorilycompleted a D-Distribution school conductedby the Board.(12) GRADE CROSS-CONNECTION-CONTROLshall:(a) Be a college graduate with abachelor's degree in the physical ornatural sciences, or be a graduate <strong>of</strong> atwo-year technical program with adegree in water and wastewater orcivil engineering technology, andhave satisfactorily completed a crossconnection control school conductedby the Board, or(b) Be a high school graduate orequivalent, have six months <strong>of</strong>acceptable experience at Class D -Distribution or higher system or haveone year experience in the operations<strong>of</strong> cross connection control devicesand have satisfactorily completed a(c)cross connection control schoolconducted by the Board, orBe a plumbing contractor licensed bythe State <strong>of</strong> North Carolina and havesatisfactorily completed a crossconnection control school conductedby the Board.History Note: Authority G.S. 90A-21(c); 90A-22; 90A-23;90A-24;Eff.
