<strong>National</strong> Training Strategy for In-service Training under <strong>National</strong> Rural <strong>Health</strong> Mission<br />
Training for Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS)/Swasthya Kalyan<br />
Samitis/Equivalent<br />
Rogi Kaliyan Samitis (RKS) are major strategic interventions under NRHM for<br />
providing the improved quality <strong>of</strong> health <strong>and</strong> family welfare services at the health<br />
facility. It is essential to provide the members <strong>of</strong> RKS/SKS/equivalent <strong>and</strong> its governing<br />
bodies with requisite knowledge. The various areas that need to be included in the<br />
<strong>training</strong> are:-<br />
� Monitoring <strong>and</strong> evaluation<br />
� Record keeping<br />
� Accounting <strong>and</strong> stock keeping<br />
� Private partnership<br />
� Procurement <strong>of</strong> medicine supplies<br />
� Data collection<br />
� MIS to monitor performance <strong>and</strong> feedback<br />
� Inventory management<br />
� Monitoring <strong>of</strong> national programmes<br />
� Survey for patient satisfaction<br />
� Financial management<br />
� St<strong>and</strong>ard accounting protocol<br />
� Fund utilisation guidelines<br />
� Financial reporting mechanism.
