Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer or Regional Ethics and ComplianceOfficers before responding to a non-routine request for information from agovernment or regulatory agency.Non-routine is defined as other than as required by normal governmentprocesses and monitoring contracts, or relating to government policy orlegal/regulatory changes.Never• Mislead any investigator or other government or regulatory <strong>of</strong>ficial.• Attempt to obstruct in any manner the collection <strong>of</strong> information,data, testimony or records by properly authorized government orregulatory <strong>of</strong>ficials (if in doubt, consult AGCO’s Chief Ethics andCompliance Officer or Regional Ethics and Compliance Officers).• Conceal, alter or destroy documents, information or records thatare subject to an investigation or enquiry (if in doubt, consultAGCO’s Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer or Regional Ethics andCompliance Officers).• Attempt to hinder another employee from providing accurateinformation.• Retaliate against anyone who cooperates with the government orregulatory agencies.Always• ABIDE BY APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS relating to workingwith governments, particularly special requirements associated withgovernment contracts and transactions.• ADOPT PROCESSES THAT ENSURE reports, certifications, statementsand proposals are current, accurate and complete and that contractrequirements are adequately identified and communicated to theresponsible parties.• CO-OPERATE COURTEOUSLY with <strong>of</strong>ficials conducting a governmentor regulatory agency enquiry or investigation. However, where therequest is non-routine, notify and seek advice from your supervisor orAGCO’s Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer or Regional Ethics andCompliance Officers before responding.
