Together these can be usedto verify that you have installed Pro API correctly, and to demonstrate some ofthe API’s key functionality. The test harness is not intended to be used as a commercial application. The test harness enables you to obtain matching addresses and picklists frominput address information that you type in on the command line. The examples in this section use the C version of the test harness. See thereadme.txt file for details of other test harnesses and sample code. OnWindows, the VB test harness is available either as qs_vb.exe in the directorywhere the Pro program is installed, or as a shortcut from the Start > Programsmenu. If the VB test harness is used, you must first enter a search and pressSearch to make the UI dialog pop up.Sample CodeThe sample code should be seen as the starting point for integration, and shouldbe tailored according to the type of integration that you are performing.Sample code is used to demonstrate best practice and includes the features thatare likely to be required by the majority of users.QuickAddress Pro API Primary API Sample Code • 11
