In cases like this, “Mike” would bestored as an alias for “Michael”.Recode MessagesWhen an alias match results in the recoding of a postcode, locality or street, thischange is highlighted. Pro User InterfacePro DialogThis chapter is relevant for Windows users working with the User InterfaceAPI only.The top-level interface of the User Interface API is the Pro Dialog. This dialogis responsible for accepting a search string from the user and displaying theaddress that Pro finds.If there are two or more results that match with your search string, Pro displaysa picklist from which you can make a selection.If you are in Single Line mode, the search string you enter in the Pro Dialogcan consist of any combination of address elements.
