At TARA,we had never been involved in the construction of buildings be<strong>for</strong>e, so this was an eyeopeningexperience and a challenging one at that, because of the short time-frame, amongother factors. Against all odds, we successfully broughtthe buildings to completion and we then planned <strong>for</strong> theofficial opening ceremony; we had set the dates earlierbut cancelled them because it did not seem feasible <strong>for</strong>the construction to have been completed by that time.Having set the final date, the project team moved to thefield one week in advance to make sure everything wasin place.45Hon.
