While significantbenefits flow from different development actions, there is a need to identify and evaluatethe associated negative impacts that accrue from various aspects of the project. Sociocultural,economic and environmental impacts in project management are critical factorsfor consideration before the implementation of the project, as they provide an in-depthanalysis of the various community dynamics. Armed with information from these impactassessments, the project can then be designed to best suit the local conditions in the areaof implementation for greater success.
