Monographic Study Nguti CouncilThere is Bole Hole water supply in the following villages: Babubock Bambe Njuinyue Mbetta Elumba5.1.4.2 Problems linked to Water SupplySeveral health problems can be linked to the poor supply of water in the municipality includingthe high rate of malaria attacks, constant stomach aches as people drink from streams and riverswhich have been contaminated upstream by others persons and animals. More so, as peopleregularly fall sick they loose valuable time and effort which could have been used to increasetheir farm output.5.1.4.3 Sanitation and MaintenanceThere are no proper functioning water maintenance committees in any of the villages. In the tableabove, Nguti town had six (6) stand taps all of which have been abandoned. Several stand taps inother villages are either not working or the water pressure is not enough.
