1 OVERVIEWMELSEC-Q1 OVERVIEWThis manual describes the specifications, parts names and settings of the <strong>QJ61BT11</strong>Control & Communication <strong>Link</strong> <strong>System</strong> <strong>Master</strong>/<strong>Local</strong> <strong>Module</strong> (hereinafter referred to asthe <strong>QJ61BT11</strong>) which is used with the MELSEC-Q series PLC CPUs.11.1 Overview<strong>CC</strong>-<strong>Link</strong> is the abbreviation of the Control & Communication <strong>Link</strong> in this manual.Throughout this manual, it will be referred to as <strong>CC</strong>-<strong>Link</strong>.The <strong>CC</strong>-<strong>Link</strong> system connects distributed modules such as an I/O module, an intelligentfunction module, and a special function module using dedicated cables so that thesemodules can be controlled by the PLC CPU.(1) By distributing each module to an equipment device such as a conveyor line and amachine device, the wiring efficiency of the entire system can be accomplished.(2) On/off information of input/output and numeric data that are handled by modulescan easily be sent and received at high-speed.(3) By connecting multiple PLC CPUs, a simple distributed system can be configured.(4) By connecting various devices made by Mitsubishi's partner manufacturers, thesystem can provide flexible solutions to meet a wide range of user needs.<strong>Master</strong> stationPLC CPURemote I/O stationDevice manufactured by one of ourpartner manufacturersRemote device stationRemote I/O station<strong>Local</strong> stationIntelligent device stationPLC CPU<strong>Master</strong> station ................
