Contractor will attract a penalty proportionately, per person, <strong>in</strong> case the person failsto carry out the house keep<strong>in</strong>g services due to his absence or any other reason.II.In the event of failure <strong>in</strong> ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the house keep<strong>in</strong>g services on any day upto thedesired standard, <strong>in</strong> part or full, the contractor is liable to penalty proportionatelyper day, which shall be recovered from the bills or otherwise. For the purpose ofimpos<strong>in</strong>g penalty, the decision of the Divisions/Commissionerate will be f<strong>in</strong>al andb<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g on the contractor and shall not be subject to dispute or arbitration.III.Contractor shall ensure that peace and order is ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> the premises.7. Other C o n di ti o ns of ContractAll the equipment/consumables material <strong>for</strong> clean<strong>in</strong>g will be supplied by the office.( i ) The brief regard<strong>in</strong>g provid<strong>in</strong>g of <strong>House</strong>keep<strong>in</strong>g Services will have be tosupplied by the Service Provider on award of contract.(ii)All services shall be per<strong>for</strong>med by the persons qualified and skilled <strong>in</strong> pe rf orm <strong>in</strong>gs u ch ser v ic e s.(iii) Clean<strong>in</strong>g should be completed <strong>in</strong> office cited premises (except commonplaces) prior to open<strong>in</strong>g of office hours so that work <strong>in</strong> office does not get <strong>in</strong>terrupted <strong>in</strong>themiddle <strong>for</strong> clean<strong>in</strong>g purpose.(iv)The persons supplied by the Service Provider should not have any Policer e c o r d s / c r i m i n a l c a s e s a g a i n s t t h e m . T h e c h a r a c t e r a n d a n t e c e d e n t s o fpersons will be verified by the Service Provider be<strong>for</strong>e their deployment t hr o u g h localp o lice, collect<strong>in</strong>g proofs of r e s idence, d r iv<strong>in</strong>g licen s e , b a n k a c c o u n t d e t a i l s ,p r e v i o u s w o r k e x p e r i e n c e a n d r e c e n t p h o t o g r a p h a n d a certificated to this effect bepolice, collect<strong>in</strong>g proofs of residence, driv<strong>in</strong>g license, bank account details, previous workexperience and recent photograph and a certificated to this effect be submitted to this office. U n d e r t a k i n g f r o m t h e p e r s o n s t o t h i s e f f e c ts h a l l be submitted by the service provider to this office.(vii)The service provider's personnel shall not divulge or disclose to any person, any details of office,operational process, technical know —how, security a r r a n g e m e n t s , a d m <strong>in</strong> i s t r a t i v e / o r g a n i z a t i o n a lm a t t e r s a s a l l a r e o f confidential /secret nature.(viii) T h e s e r v ice pr o v ider's p er s o n n e l s h o u ld b e po lite, c o r d ial, p o s itive a n d efficient, while handl<strong>in</strong>gthe assigned work. The services provider shall be r e sp ons ible <strong>for</strong> an y ac t of <strong>in</strong> discipl<strong>in</strong>e on t he par to f p er so n s de p lo ye d him. The Service Provider shall be bound to prohibit and prevent any oft h e i r e m p l o y e e s f r o m b e i n g i n t o x i c a t e d w h i l e o n d u t y , t r e s p a s s i n g o r act<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> any detrimentalor prejudicial to the <strong>in</strong>terest of this office. The decision of the officer <strong>in</strong> charge upon any matteraris<strong>in</strong>g under the clau se shall be f<strong>in</strong>al and b<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g on the Service Provider.(ix) T h a t t h e p e r s o n s e n ga g e d s h a ll n o t b e b e low t h e a g e o f 1 8 y e a r s a n d(x)they shall not <strong>in</strong>terfere with the duties of the employees of these offices.Th is of f ic e m ay r eq u ire t he se rvice pro v id er t o dismiss or rem o ve fro m the site of work, anyperson or persons, employed by the service provider, who may be <strong>in</strong>competent or <strong>for</strong> his/her/theirmisconduct and the service provider shall <strong>for</strong>thwith comply with such requirements. The Service providershall immediately withdraw anysuch personnel, if they are unacceptable to this offices because of security risk,<strong>in</strong>competence,conflict <strong>in</strong>terest and breach of confidentiality or improper conduct upon receiv<strong>in</strong>g written notice from office.(xii) The service provider has to provide Photo Identity Cards to the persons employed by him/her <strong>for</strong> carry<strong>in</strong>g out thework. These cards are to be constantly displayed &their loss reported immediately.(xiii) The transportation, food, medical and other statutory requirements <strong>in</strong> respect of each personnel of the serviceprovider shall be the responsibility of the service provider.(xiv) That the Service Provider will be wholly and exclusively responsible <strong>for</strong>payment of wages to the persons engaged by it <strong>in</strong> compliance of all the statutory obligations under11
