Contractor will attract a penalty proportionately, per person, in case the person failsto carry out the house keeping services due to his absence or any other reason.II.In the event of failure in maintaining the house keeping services on any day upto thedesired standard, in part or full, the contractor is liable to penalty proportionatelyper day, which shall be recovered from the bills or otherwise. For the purpose ofimposing penalty, the decision of the Divisions/Commissionerate will be final andbinding on the contractor and shall not be subject to dispute or arbitration.III.Contractor shall ensure that peace and order is maintained in the premises.7. Other C o n di ti o ns of ContractAll the equipment/consumables material for cleaning will be supplied by the office.( i ) The brief regarding providing of Housekeeping Services will have be tosupplied by the Service Provider on award of contract.(ii)All services shall be performed by the persons qualified and skilled in pe rf orm ings u ch ser v ic e s.(iii) Cleaning should be completed in office cited premises (except commonplaces) prior to opening of office hours so that work in office does not get interrupted inthemiddle for cleaning purpose.(iv)The persons supplied by the Service Provider should not have any Policer e c o r d s / c r i m i n a l c a s e s a g a i n s t t h e m . T h e c h a r a c t e r a n d a n t e c e d e n t s o fpersons will be verified by the Service Provider before their deployment t hr o u g h localp o lice, collecting proofs of r e s idence, d r iving licen s e , b a n k a c c o u n t d e t a i l s ,p r e v i o u s w o r k e x p e r i e n c e a n d r e c e n t p h o t o g r a p h a n d a certificated to this effect bepolice, collecting proofs of residence, driving license, bank account details, previous workexperience and recent photograph and a certificated to this effect be submitted to this office. U n d e r t a k i n g f r o m t h e p e r s o n s t o t h i s e f f e c ts h a l l be submitted by the service provider to this office.(vii)The service provider's personnel shall not divulge or disclose to any person, any details of office,operational process, technical know —how, security a r r a n g e m e n t s , a d m in i s t r a t i v e / o r g a n i z a t i o n a lm a t t e r s a s a l l a r e o f confidential /secret nature.(viii) T h e s e r v ice pr o v ider's p er s o n n e l s h o u ld b e po lite, c o r d ial, p o s itive a n d efficient, while handlingthe assigned work. The services provider shall be r e sp ons ible for an y ac t of in discipline on t he par to f p er so n s de p lo ye d him. The Service Provider shall be bound to prohibit and prevent any oft h e i r e m p l o y e e s f r o m b e i n g i n t o x i c a t e d w h i l e o n d u t y , t r e s p a s s i n g o r acting in any detrimentalor prejudicial to the interest of this office. The decision of the officer in charge upon any matterarising under the clau se shall be final and binding on the Service Provider.(ix) T h a t t h e p e r s o n s e n ga g e d s h a ll n o t b e b e low t h e a g e o f 1 8 y e a r s a n d(x)they shall not interfere with the duties of the employees of these offices.Th is of f ic e m ay r eq u ire t he se rvice pro v id er t o dismiss or rem o ve fro m the site of work, anyperson or persons, employed by the service provider, who may be incompetent or for his/her/theirmisconduct and the service provider shall forthwith comply with such requirements. The Service providershall immediately withdraw anysuch personnel, if they are unacceptable to this offices because of security risk,incompetence,conflict interest and breach of confidentiality or improper conduct upon receiving written notice from office.(xii) The service provider has to provide Photo Identity Cards to the persons employed by him/her for carrying out thework. These cards are to be constantly displayed &their loss reported immediately.(xiii) The transportation, food, medical and other statutory requirements in respect of each personnel of the serviceprovider shall be the responsibility of the service provider.(xiv) That the Service Provider will be wholly and exclusively responsible forpayment of wages to the persons engaged by it in compliance of all the statutory obligations under11
