Annual Water Quality FeeThis fee is assessed to permittees with an authorization in effect on September 1 of each year.The permittee will receive an invoice for payment of <strong>the</strong> annual water quality fee in November.The payment will be due 30 days from <strong>the</strong> invoice date. A 5% penalty will be assessed if <strong>the</strong>payment is not received by <strong>TCEQ</strong> by <strong>the</strong> due date. Annual water quality fee assessmentscannot be waived if <strong>the</strong> permit is in effect, whe<strong>the</strong>r active or inactive, onSeptember 1.Important Note to All Applicants and <strong>Permit</strong>tees:If your permit is in effect on September 1, you will be assessed an annual water quality fee. It is<strong>the</strong> responsibility of <strong>the</strong> permittee to submit a cancellation or transfer form in a timely manner.Pursuant to 30 TAC §305.66, failure to pay fees is good cause for permit denial or revocation.
