Overnight at HotelEsplanade; small, discrete and on thewaterfront. Explore the cobbled alleywaysof Gamla Stan, enjoy good food or justrelax and dream about the adventureahead.DAY 2 STOCKHOLM - ICEHOTELBreakfast in the hotel’s art nouveaubreakfast room before late morning flightto Kiruna and transfer to Jukkasjarvi andthe ICEHOTEL. On arrival, check in andlunch at the local Inn, after which collectthermal clothing and take a guided tour ofthe ICEHOTEL and its environs. Later, startthe evening with a guided snowmobiletour through the forest with the possibilityof the Northern Lights in the night skyabove. Traditional Sami soup at awilderness encampment before returningto Jukkasjarvi. Then, it’s into the “AbsolutIce Bar” to enjoy a special drink (payablelocally) – a “Northern Lights” or a “Wolf’sOUR CLASSIC ICE BREAKPaw” – before retiring to your ICEHOTELroom for the most unusual night of your life.DAY 3 ICEHOTEL Wake up to a hotcloudberry juice, take a sauna (optional)and breakfast across at the Inn. Afterwards,you can enjoy an optional reindeer sledsafari through the forest and across thefells to a “Lavvo” (tent) for a traditionalSami lunch by an open fire beforereturning to Jukkasjarvi. In the afternoon,you can choose further optional excursionseither by husky or snowmobile. The finalnight of your “Classic Ice Break” is spenteither in a Kaamos, Nordic or NorthernLights room.
