Private transfer to andovernight at Anglais Hotel. Take a wanderround to Stureplan for a mocha or moreand then on to the Spy Bar orSturecompagniet.DAY 2 STOCKHOLM - ICEHOTELBreakfast in the hotel before privatetransfer to the airport for a late morningflight to Kiruna and transfer to Jukkasjarviand the ICEHOTEL. On arrival, check inand lunch at the local Inn, after whichcollect thermal clothing and take a guidedtour of the ICEHOTEL and its environs.Later, start the evening with a transfer toEsrange (or if necessary to Aurora SkyStation depending on weather conditions).A 3 course dinner is prepared around anencampment alongside Lake Salmijärvibeginning with a welcome drink whilst youstudy the night sky with binoculars, lookfor your favourite star constellations andhopefully the Northern Lights. Afterwards,head off to the specially built ice track todrive your Saab 9-3 Sport Combi underthe supervision of a skilled instructor.Begin with manoeuvring tests on the icewhich push the ABS and stabilizationsystems to the limit. Out on the track yourinstructor guides you around a course totest the car, its systems and your ownabilities at up to 100km/hr. Coffee andcake in Sami-style.Afterwards switch vehicles and terrain,swapping your Turbo Saab for PolarisRanger and ice track for rough cut trackthrought the forest.
