Fosil bivalvia Daonella dari Sg. Jentar, Mentakab, PahangKESIMPULANSebanyak lima spesies Daonella telah ditemui padasatu singkapan batuan kepunyaan Formasi Semantan diSg. Jentar, Mentakab dalam Daerah Temerloh, Pahang.Spesies-spesies ini biasa kedapatan dalam Lautan Paleo-Tethys di persekitaran samudera dalam. Kajian penemuanterletak tidak jauh dari beberapa lokaliti di manaKobayashi (1964) telah menemui dan memperihalkanlima spesies Daonella. Berdasarkan kewujudan spesiesindeks iaitu Daonella lommeli (Wissman), himpunanfauna Daonella ini dianggarkan berusia Ladinian Akhir,Trias Tengah.
