Individual Species Response<br />

Individual species response to the treatments applied was also evaluated <strong>for</strong> the seeded<br />

species as well as five <strong>of</strong> the most commonly occurring non-seeded species (Tall fescue, Red<br />

fescue, Crownvetch, Birdsfoot Trefoil, and Clover (Trifolium spp.)). Although American Vetch<br />

was seeded, no plants were seen; there<strong>for</strong>e it was removed from this analysis. Fertilizer did not<br />

significantly influence individual cover <strong>of</strong> the species tested, but treatment did significantly<br />

influence cover (Table 22). For the seeded natives, Herbicide treated and Tilled plots<br />

significantly increased their cover. Herbicide increased the cover <strong>of</strong> Brown-eyed Susan and<br />
