Peter BidlockMr. Bidlock is Chairman and CEO of four <strong>Edmonton</strong>hotels: the Dover Hotel, the Mount Royal Hotel, theJasper Place Hotel and the Grand Hotel. He has beenactively involved in the hospitality and relatedindustries for many years, having owned andoperated various hotels and motor inns throughoutAlberta. He is a Director and past president of theAlberta Hotel & Lodging Association and currentlyprovides consulting services to the hospitalityindustry. Mr. Bidlock is a past member of the CapitalHealth Authority, and a former member of the CapitalRegion Forum, and was an elected member ofmunicipal government. He currently serves as aboard member for <strong>Edmonton</strong> Northlands, as well asthe Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.G. John BowesMr. Bowes operates G. John Bowes, CharteredAccountant, a full service, professional publicaccounting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Commercedegree from the University of Alberta and anHonours Diploma in Administration Managementfrom the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.Mr. Bowes has operated his accounting practice for20 years, focusing on professional accountingengagements to the business community, corporate,personal, excise and estate tax and general businessconsulting services. Mr. Bowes also serves as amember of the Sturgeon County Lottery Board andthe Sturgeon County Economic Development Board.Frank FlorkewichMr. Florkewich owns and operates three familybusinesses: Junction 43 Sales and Service Inc. (anequipment dealership), Norcan Consulting Group Inc.(a professional project management, planning andengineering consulting company), and The SignShop; he also currently operates a family farm withhis son. He is a Civil Engineering Technologist andplanning technician, and has held several technical,management, and marketing positions with ShellCanada, Franci & Associates, and Parkland County,and was a principal partner in TriTec EngineeringLtd., and Roma Florkewich & Associates Ltd.Mr. Florkewich has recently completed a nine-yearterm as Councillor for Parkland County, and has heldseveral executive positions with provincial andfederal political associations. He is also activelyinvolved in many community activities. He iscurrently Vice Chairman of West Parkland Gas Co-opLtd., President of St. Georges’ Catholic ChurchCommittee, past president of the ParklandCommunity Association, and has served on severalcommunity boards and committees. Mr. Florkewichis a resident of Parkland County.Dennis FoleyMr. Foley is President of 544882 Alberta Ltd., anAlberta company providing marketing and technicalconsulting services relating to transportationinfrastructure, systems and materials, and is aSenior Advisor to the University of Calgary, Faculty ofEngineering, Bituminous Materials Chair. He is theholder of three Canadian and three United Statespatents relating to the fields of petroleum productsand pavement systems. He also is the author oftwelve technical papers respecting bituminousmaterials source, manufacturing, utilization andtesting and holds a Bachelor of Science, CivilEngineering degree from the University ofSaskatchewan. During his thirty-year career withHusky Oil Ltd., he held positions from a SalesEngineer to the Manager for Heavy Oil Marketing tohis most recently retired position as Director ofProduct Research and Development. Mr. Foley hasserved on the Boards of Directors of the AsphaltInstitute, Canadian Technical Asphalt Association,Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy ConstructionAssociation, and Roads and TransportationAssociation of Canada. He holds lifetimememberships in the Canadian Technical AsphaltAssociation, Alberta Roadbuilders & HeavyConstruction Association, Road and TransportationAssociation of Canada, and Association ofProfessional Engineers of Saskatchewan, and acurrent membership in the Association ofProfessional Engineers, Geologists andGeophysicists of Alberta. Mr. Foley has been alicensed pilot since 1962 and is a resident of theGenesee area.David R. FoyMr. Foy is President of Mathew and Company, atextile and linens distribution and service company,and a subsidiary of the Summit Group, of whichMr. Foy is a director and partner. Mr. Foy served forfour years as President and Chief Executive Officerof EPCOR where he transformed a traditional utilitycompany into a competitive business and marketleader in Alberta. Prior to that, he served in a numberof executive roles, including President and ChiefExecutive Officer of Phillips Cables Limited,President of Phillip’s Communication ProductsDivision, Vice President Human Resources of DylexLimited and Vice President Human Resources andAdministration of Steetley Industries. Mr. Foy holdsBachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce degreesfrom Loyola University. Mr. Foy currently serves as adirector of DSL Industries Inc., and Mathew & Co.Limited. He is also a past director of the <strong>Edmonton</strong>Eskimos and of the Board of Governors of theUniversity of Alberta.25
