Kappas celebrate a richness of common heritage while embracing eachother's diversity of backgrounds and interests. Every Kappa sister should have the opportunity tocomplete her education. That is the philosophy behind the scholarship efforts of the KappaKappa Gamma Foundation.Pi Beta Phi (ΠΒΦ)-Pi Phi expects and helps members with time management. We utilize tools to improve our timemanagement of social obligations and our academics.-Pi Phi‟s are always there for each other; we always help one another. Study groups are one wayin which we do this. Students in the same class form study groups to study together and makesure that everyone excels on their exams and improves their performance in class.-Upperclassmen are often used as resources to the underclassmen. If they have taken a classalready, they are always more than happy to help you study or even gives you tips on how tosucceed in that particular class. Upperclassmen also give great advice on what classes to take.-Pi Phi always gives incentive to get your grades up to improve not just for yourself, but for yoursisters and for F/S life in general.-When a sister is struggling in a class, Pi Phi provides tutors that can help you improve yourgrades and do well on an exam that you are having trouble preparing for.- Every week we recognize women who did well academically during the week.Page | 4

Ourpurpose states the importance of cherishing and perfecting friendships. Every semester, ourchapter devotes time for their fellow sisters by participating in sisterhood events where the idealsof sisterhood can grow. Being in a sorority offers a strong support system for its members, bothin their activities and in their everyday lives. The friendships cultivated in Alpha Gamma Deltaare ones that will last a lifetime.Alpha Phi (ΑΦ)Alpha Phi‟s extend the value of sisterhood beyond planned events. Alpha Phi‟s truly enjoy justbeing around one another. That being said, we also have multiple events and traditions that keepour sisterhood alive. Some examples of bonding events include movie nights (last time wewatched Bridesmaids!); pumpkin picking; and weekly "sunshine," which is a way to extend yourappreciation for one another; and study break snacks together. We host alumnae brunches,parents' brunches, and scholarship teas. These brunches and teas are a way for Alpha Phi‟s tointeract with important people in each other‟s lives. As stated, Alpha Phi‟s can promotesisterhood in so many organized ways, but what it comes down to is the genuine feeling ofsisterhood that is spread throughout this chapter.Delta Delta Delta (ΓΓΓ)„to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members‟The opening phrase of Delta Delta Delta‟s mission statement reads that „the purpose ofDelta Delta Delta shall be to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members,‟ andthis is reflected in all that we do as a sorority. We ask when you choose Tri Delta, that you don‟tchoose to enter our organization and try to fill a stereotype, but rather than you bring yourself forwho you are and accept others for who they are as well.Delta Gamma (ΓΓ)- Sisterhood eventso Movie nightso Sporting eventso Chapter dinnerso Etc…- Co-sponsor events with other Greek and non Greek organizations on campus- Living in the houseo Every Sorority member is required to live in the house for at least one semestero Fosters very strong relationships with other residentsPage | 5
