2011 Summer Stretch Catalog12K301: A Blast of BroadwaySix days of acting, singing and dancing on KCD’s beautiful new stage and inour fabulous new black box theatre! Participate in a camp led by renownedNew York choreographer Lane Gifford in collaboration with one of KCD’s talentedmusical faculty, Jeannine Ary. A Blast of Broadway offers master classesin drama, music, and dance. This hands-on learning approach is a fun andexciting learning experience for all drama and music students. No prior experienceis necessary, as classes are geared to the varied levels of the students, someof whom are returning participants. This workshop concludes with a musicaltheater production of scenes from Broadway shows presented to parents andfriends on day 6.Campers should bring a snack, lunch and wear comfortable workoutclothes (no skirts or sandals) every day.
