STETTLER ELKS LODGE NO. 92
Grand Exalted Ruler Dave Hurley and his wife Audrey arrived in Stettler on Tuesday March 15, 2011. They were
met by a delegation of Stettler Elks and Royal Purple and they were treated to supper, a visit with the Stettler Mayor
at the Town Council Chambers, as well as attending a special Elks meeting. In attendance were members of
Stettler’s Royal Purple Lodge No. 60, District 11 District Deputy, Dale Kent, and Brothers from the Halkirk Elks
Lodge No. 361.
We would all like to thank Grand Exalted Ruler Dave Hurley for his inspirational visit.

Stettler Elks Exalted Ruler Ron Duncan, presents a cheque for $2000.00 to
the Heck family. Little Roan Heck (pictured here with Mom and Dad) lost part
of his leg in an accident with a lawnmower last year. The funds will help with
his rehabilitation and Prosthetic Leg.
Stettler Elks Exalted Ruler Ron Duncan, presents a
cheque for $1000.00 to Barry Haner on behalf of
the Bob Dietrich Fund. Bob is a young married man
who was badly injured at work.
Stettler Elks Brother Jack Snodgrass, presents a
cheque of $750.00 to Pam Blake on behalf of her
late husband Owen Blake for ALS Research.

people in the community.
