Good News Broadcast Number 010 – TIME EXPIRED – THE BIGGEST MOMENT IN HISTORYKing David loved the Word and the Law of God, and his writings in the Psalms reveal that heunderstands the timing of the ways of the Lord in each day. David knew that the Principal key toall things is to seek out the Words of God and to then seek the Lord to get understanding of HisWay to do the Promises that God the Father placed within each of His Words. It is interesting tonote that in Psalm 119, King David called both His Word and His Law as Truth, and that he, David,loved the Law of God. In Proverbs 4:7 we saw that David testified to his son Solomon that the keyto success and greatness is found in focusing all of your attention and effort into Getting HisWisdom, and that with all his getting make sure that you are diligent to seek out understanding ofHis Way so that he would be able to do the way of the Words of God to enable the Good Works tobe done. David said that he meditated all of the day on the Law of God, and that He meditated allof the evening and the night on the Word of God. Clearly David had a heart that loved to seek outand to listen for the Truth of the Lord to be made known.Psalm 119:97-100 97 OH, HOW I LOVE YOUR LAW! It is my meditation all the day.98 You, through your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; for they are ever withme. 99 I have more understanding that all my teachers, for Your testimonies (His Worksthat are done by His Words) are my meditation. 100 I have more understanding than theancients, because I keep your precepts (The way of His Works).Psalm 119:145-148 145 I cry out with my whole heart; Hear me, O Lord! I will keep Yourstatutes (His Laws are the Promises of God that are in His Words for they are each Truth andthey are forever entwined, for the Lord says that He keeps Truth forever – Psalm 146:6). 146 Icry out to You; Save me, and I will keep Your testimonies (The Way of His Works andPromises). 147 I rise before the dawning of the morning. And cry for help; I hope in YourWord. 148 My eyes are awake in the Watches that I may meditate on Your Word. (TheWatches begin in the Evening and last until the Dawn of the Morning. When the Lord tells us to“Watch” do you not think that it is important to pay attention that He has structured the hoursof the Watch to be from the Supper, through the Midnight and until the Dawn? We should turnand seek Him now in this Evening of His Day).Job 23:12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips (Deut. 18:18-19; John 3:34)of His lips; I have treasured the Words of His mouth more than my necessary food.Psalm 119:48 My hands I will lift up to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditateon Your statutes (His Promises that can also be known as Laws given to us).Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is Truth.Psalm 77:5-6, 11-12 5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times. 6 I call toremembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes diligentsearch… 11 I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.12 I will also meditate on all Your Work, and talk of Your deeds.
