Ephesians 1:13-14 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the Word of Truth, the GoodNews of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit ofPromise, 14 who is the GUARANTEE of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchasedpossession, to the praise of His Glory.Do You Really Know that the Sign of His Day?The Lord testified in Luke 21:34-36 that His shepherds of this Day of the Lord will not know theseason, and therefore they will have not prepared His people for the Midnight Separation Judgment,and they will be caught in the snare. This will occur even though the Lord warned them and gavethem many parables, such as the Parable of the Ten Virgins; the Parable of the Great Supper; theParable of the Wedding Feast; the Parable of the Evening Light; and the Parable of Babylon and theNight Watchman (Is. 21:1-12). These Parables clearly revealed the coming Midnight SeparationJudgment. Once the people understand that their time is about to truly expire, then they will getserious to understand what other important things have not been revealed to them.Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. BECAUSE YOU HAVEREJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I also will reject you from being a priest before Me becauseyou have forgotten the law of your God I also will forget your children.”In Malachi 3:1-3, the Lord confirms in clarity what is made known through other prophets likeIsaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and what is confirmed by the apostles. In Malachi 3:1 the Lord saysthat He is sending a messenger before Him to prepare the way, and then the Lord will comesuddenly to His temple. The Lord reveals that He will come as the Messenger of the Covenant, andthat is in the form of the Glory of the Lord as it came into the Temple previously.Malachi 3:1-3 1 “Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. Andthe Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of thecovenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," says the Lord of hosts. 2 "But who canendure the Day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner'sfire and like launderers' soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify thesons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord An offering inrighteousness.In the Night the Glory of the Lord will be found in the midst of Israel. During the time of the Nightthe people of all nations who seek Him will go up once a year to Israel to give honor to the Glory ofthe Lord during the Feast of Tents – that is the Feast of His Covering us by His Voice. If we do notgo up to Israel in that time, then they will not be able to enable any Good Works for that year.Further, the Lord says they will have no rain – no growth in knowledge. The danger is that thepurpose of the time of the Night for the worthy is that they are to be zealous during the Night togather together and to increase in knowledge of Ways to do the Words of God for each other. The time ofthe Night is a very important time for the worthy. They will be very busy and they will be highlyfavored of God, while the unworthy are going to be highly troubled.What should be coming clear to you is that the Lord is determined to bring us forth not asindividuals, but as a congregation of His people. Our work is to make known the knowledge of theGlory of the Lord. In the history of Israel that was done when the nation served God. So it isduring this time of the Lord. The Lord says this clearly in Malachi 3:6, for He says that He is theLord and He does not change. What we need to understand is that the Glory of the Lord is with usnow as the Spirit of Truth within His Words. He has come to make all Truth known. Though wedo not see the Glory of the Lord as He will come into the Temple, we can know that He is here nowas the Spirit of Truth within His Words for the Lord says that He has come near us to Judge. LikeDavid at Nachon’s threshing floor, it has been made know to us that we have not the knowledge webelieved, and it is time to stop our errored way, and perfect our worship of the Lord.In that time all of the nations will fear to touch even their foot on the border of Israel for fear of theLord unless they have the seal of the Word of Truth upon them. For the Lord’s Word is true andwhile the Glory of the Lord is in Israel no one shall enter the land of the Lord’s Glory to do harm.In Malachi 3:7 the Lord makes it very clear why He says in Ezekiel 36 and in Isaiah 41 that in noway are the people of Israel deserving of His coming near, for they do not even know that they arelost. The Lord warned them in this verse that they will ask in what way they should return. This isbecause just like it was in Jesus first coming, they still do not even know they are lost. Rememberthat this passage is clearly talking about this time that is the time of the Day of the Lord that we arenow in. Like it is for the house of Israel at this time, it is the same way it is for the Gentiles. Wesee this in His warning to us in Luke 21:34-36. The Lord is also saying in Luke 21:34-36 that theGentiles will not know that they must return to Him. Now we see that it is true. We have notknown that we have gone away from His ordinances because we did not know the Way of Truthand the knowledge of His Words. It is important that we not only know the knowledge of HisWords, but also, the times that we live in, for the Will of God has a plan and a purpose and we mustbegin to learn within that plan if we want to be highly favored by the Lord. Malachi 3:4-7 4 "Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to the Lord, as in thedays of old, as in former years. 5 And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swiftwitness against sorcerers, against adulterers, against perjurers, against those who exploit wageearners and widows and orphans, and against those who turn away an alien-- Because they donot fear Me," says the Lord of hosts. 6 "For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are notconsumed, O sons of Jacob. 7 Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from Myordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you," says the Lord ofhosts. "But you said, 'In what way shall we return?'Do You Really Receive Food for Your Talents?The verses of Malachi 3:8-12 are perhaps the most abused verses in the Bible.
