Good News Broadcast Number 010 – TIME EXPIRED – THE BIGGEST MOMENT IN HISTORYLanguage to His people for the sake of His Great Name. But, we also need to hear the Lord’swarning regarding the reason that He has stood up in this Day to bring His Justice and to restore HisWords. We need to understand that in the Bible a City is the Way of a people who gather togetherand thus they determine the way they live. This is what the Lord is referring to in Zephaniah 3:1,the Way of all the people of this present Day is compared to a “City”. The answer to this is easilyfound, for He proclaims it in many places within the Scriptures, one of which is the very same 3 rdchapter of Zephaniah. Let us first consider Zephaniah 3:1-7, being the verses prior to verses 8-9,and then we will consider the verses of Zephaniah 3 that follow after verse 9: Zephaniah 3:1-7 1 Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city! 2 She hasnot obeyed His voice, she has not received correction; she has not trusted in the Lord, she hasnot drawn near to her God. 3 Her princes in her midst are roaring lions; her judges are eveningwolves that leave not a bone till morning. 4 Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people;her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law. 5 The Lord isrighteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness. Every morning He brings His justiceto light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame.6 "I have cut off nations, theirfortresses are devastated; I have made their streets desolate, with none passing by. Their citiesare destroyed; there is no one, no inhabitant. 7 I said, 'Surely you will fear Me, you will receiveinstruction'-- so that her dwelling would not be cut off, despite everything for which I punishedher. But they rose early and corrupted all their deeds.There is an interesting truth that is made known within the Lord’s Warning of the vision of theEvening and the Morning that He says is also true for us of this last Day of the Lord. It is theMorning that the Lord began making His Justice coming to Light upon the wicked. In that day ofKing Zedekiah, the Lord brought the punishments upon King Zedekiah, his princes, the prophetswho had supported their purposes, and also the wealthy merchants. It was in the morning that theLord started putting these evil men to death at the hands of King Nebuchadnezzar’s army whom theLord had brought to destroy the wicked and to take the complacent people off into slavery. Thesame is true of the Day of the Lord for the Trumpet Judgments will begin in the Morning and theywill bring the wraths judgments upon these wicked who are left behind. Also at noon of the Day ofthe Lord the Bowl Judgments begin. At the end of the Evening, the Lord caused fear to panic theKing, the princes, the rich men, and the prophets who had supported their cause, and they gatheredtheir things and made a hole in the wall and they fled out of the presence of the people to get awayfrom the Judgment that the Lord had brought against them. Throughout the Night they fled and hid.Consider also that in Zephaniah 3:5-7 the Lord says that He destroyed their cities and brought themto nothing, but they would not learn from the lesson and they had no shame. In Revelation 6:15-17the Lord reveals to us that after the Rapture, the Left Behind will not have learned their lesson. Forinstead of crying out to Him for Mercy, they will instead call out for someone to emerge that canprotect them from the face of the Lord – protect them from His Words. Instead of seeking for theLord they are seeking the emergence of the terrible Antichrist.
