You can then let your friends have theURL (address) and they can then browse them at their leisure,or indeed run them as a slide show. The service is free (wouldI use it otherwise?) and initially you are given an allowance of20 megabytes per month; mine has just been raised to a 100megabytes so I must be doing something right. A fee is onlypayable if you want to upload an unlimited number ofphotographs, but one can squeeze a hell of a lot of picturesinto 20 MB.If you want to use the freebie you have to have a Yahooidentity before you can sign up for flickr, but this is easilyobtained from Yahoo.com and then you can start uploadingimmediately. If you want to have a preview, take a look at mymodest efforts so far by copying and pasting the followingURL into your Internet Browser.http://tinyurl.com/y9cjpmThis is one worthwhile program and one can spend hourslooking at what others have uploaded, most in the publicdomain, ie no copyright. For instance if you do a search onWalpole, flickr will come up with some 2080 photos althoughgranted, not all are of Walpole WA.Last time I checked there was something like 33 millionphotos in the data base.
