SOLO – LDR TransmitterThe LDR (Low Data Rate) transmitter from Cobham Surveillanceis a long-range digital video transmitter with domotechnology at its core. The LDR transmitter sendsinformational quality video at reduced frame rates,compressed to very low data rates (typically 30kb/s),to an LDR receiver. This high level of compressionand reduced data rate means that the LDRtransmitter can send images over very longdistances. The LDR transmitter occupies at least50kHz of bandwidth, and can therefore be usedmore easily at UHF frequencies.
