SOLO4 – <strong>Audio</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Telemetry</strong> ReceiverThe SOLO4 <strong>Audio</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Telemetry</strong> Receiverfrom Cobham Surveillance is a diversity<strong>COFDM</strong> receiver, designed specificallyfor the reception of audio <strong>and</strong> telemetrydata. The SOLO4 <strong>Audio</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Telemetry</strong>Receiver has domo technology at its core<strong>and</strong> can be configured into different userselectable b<strong>and</strong>widths, to satisfy a varietyof requirements. B<strong>and</strong>widths from 25KHzto 125KHz are available offering usercapacity from 14 to 146kb/s. This capacitycan be shared between audio <strong>and</strong> userRS232 telemetry data, in any combination.Additional b<strong>and</strong>widths will be available inthe future.The SOLO4 <strong>Audio</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Telemetry</strong> Receiveremploys diversity reception <strong>and</strong> a uniquenarrow b<strong>and</strong> <strong>COFDM</strong> modulation. It willreceive telemetry data <strong>and</strong> audio in anon-line of sight environment up to 5km,depending on mode <strong>and</strong> frequency.
