GENERAL MAINTENANCETRACK TENSIONTrack tension should be chec~:ed periodically. If atljlli>lmenlis necessary: (Figu1•e lS).1. Loosen boLs, Ref. 1.2. Back trunnion nut away from trunnion, Ref. 2.3. Turn ~r.mnton boll clockwise lo lighlen, t;uun l~::rt!lockwi~eto loosen, Ref. 3.-1. To complete adjustment, tighten trunnion nut and thethree bolts.NOTE: \Vhen making a:ljustment in the field, be cert~.in toadjust both trunnions so the track tension is equal on J:olhsictes.Track should :1ave 3/4" total s lack between track and centertruck wheels (Figure 17).
