2005 Entries into Kerchner's MtDNA Test Results LogEngland. She had a daughter, Elizabeth Fyson, born 1837 in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Her daughter,Ellen Martha Georgina Willmore was born 1876, in Bexleyheath, Kent. Ellen married JohnCarney and emigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where my mother and eventually, I wasborn. In terms of my results, I was pretty well resigned to the fact that my DNA would likely bemostly European, and it is. However, belonging to Haplogroup I is almost mystical news. Foryears my mother and I have been fascinated by the migrations of the Cro-Magnons and theirbeautiful cave paintings at Lascaux and Pont de Chauvet in France. We have visited themwhenever we have visited Europe. Now I realize that those amazing paintings were created by myvery own maternal ancestors! Gives me goose bumps.Email address (To use delete '-Saturday-' and add @ sign in that position): pmsloan-Saturday-shaw.caGuest: Mary K.Date-Time: Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 15:28:36 (CST)Testing Company Used: The Genographic ProjectHVR1 MtDNA Results: 16093C, 16256T, 16270T, 16291T, 16399GMtDNA Haplogroup per HVR1 Results: UHVR2 MtDNA Test Results: Not testedDate MtDNA Test Was Ordered: October, 2005Comments: Margaret (Knight)Talling b. Cornwall England is the oldest known place of origin. Believe the general look ismostly blue eyed, fair skinned, but hair varies from dark to light and some females hadstrawberry blonde hair. As far as actual results, showing the U-group stopped around Finland/Estonia 55,000 years ago, I was disappointed that it didn't continue on to show the line going intoBritish Isles or wherever it went from there. The Genographic project only asked as far back asmy grandparents' information which leaves a large gap to connect. I now have a designation, but Iam no wiser as to what it means.Email address (To use delete '-Saturday-' and add @ sign in that position): w_m_kienapple-Saturday-hotmail.comGuest: John J FisherDate-Time: Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 15:25:57 (CST)Testing Company Used: FamilyTreeDNAHVR1 MtDNA Results: 16519CMtDNA Haplogroup per HVR1 Results: HHVR2 MtDNA Test Results: 263G, 309.1C, 309.2C, 315.1C, 524.1C, 524.1ADate MtDNA Test Was Ordered: 19 September 2003Comments: My oldest known direct line Maternal Ancestor known would be Mary Francesfile:///D|/KERCHNER.COM/mtdnalog/mtdnalog2005.htm (18 of 108)3/8/2010 8:21:33 PM
