Students will be exposed tothe history <strong>of</strong> Malaysia‘s plural contemporary society. Other topics include the constitution, economicdevelopment, politics and Islam Hadhari in the context <strong>of</strong> ethnic relations. There are discussions onchallenges facing ethnic relations in Malaysia and globally with a view towards developing an integratednation.Learning OutcomesAt the end <strong>of</strong> the course, students are able to:1. Identify the basic concepts and theories associated with ethnic relations.2. Apply knowledge, concepts and principles on social and national integration.3.
