From the General Manager’s deskDear Members,The 2011-2012 Fiscal Year has just ended.Management has completed a new budget andorganizational core plan to be endorsed to thesucceeding Board which will be determined onAugust 28, 2012 during the Annual GeneralMembership (AGM) meeting. I would like to takethis opportunity to invite all of you to attend ourAGM meeting. I also encourage our proprietarymembers to submit proxy forms to the Office ofthe General Manager (OGM) for quorum purposes.Our aim to provide you quality food, service,and facilities continues. The Food & Beverage(F&B) team is atop the recent launching of theMB@P (Manila’s Best at Polo), a selection of thetop 20 desserts in the Metro. We have offeringmouth-watering specials in August like Coulibiac,Shrimp and Fish Cake, and Grilled Lamb Chop.Nanten Japanese Restaurant in its new locationat the parking area and Coffee Bean Kiosk bythe bowling lanes will likely be open by the timeyou receive this issue. We invite all our membersto give our new food outlets the same warmwelcome you gave Pancake House at the TennisPavilion.The Main Lounge and other meeting rooms havealmost been completed and will be opened forreservations starting September. We expect tohost more parties by the “ber” months.For everyone wishing to hold their events in ourgrand function rooms, please feel free to call ourBanquet Sales Office. We will be glad to be ofservice to you.Be part of our Grand Sports Awards Nighton August 24 and let us all give applause toour member-athletes for their commendableparticipation, great courage, amazingperseverance, and excellent performance in theirvarious sports fields.
