President’s MessageDear fellow members,This is a follow up report on the recent changesin our F&B operations. Cravings Food Services,Inc., as the winning bidder for F&B concessionaire,decided not to sign the concessionaire agreementdue to what they perceive as “cultural differences”between Manila Polo Club and their company.As a result, the Club management, as approved bythe Board, reorganized the kitchen. They contractedthe services of our previous chefs, butcher andbaker and hired an F&B director.Our kitchen is humming and members are happywith the quality of our food and service. There hasbeen no disruption in our operations. The transitionhas been relatively seamless.One backed out, another one came in. “Nanten”,the Japanese restaurant at the Willow Root, openedon April. Ably managed by fellow members ConradCalalang and Robert Yupangco, Nanten is opendaily for lunch and dinner. It is slowly gainingpopularity for its Sushi Bar and wide selection ofauthentic Japanese cuisine.the Club’s bulletin boards for regular updates. Youmay also see our GM for any information you need,all transactions are transparent.Last month, the Club celebrated Mother’s Day.A hearty lunch and colorful bouquets marked theoccasion at the Sports Lounge. A couple of daysfrom now, it’s the fathers’ turn to enjoy their specialday. My advance greetings to all fathers and fathersto be!
