The binding agent only supportsIPv4 connections.Note • For VMware ESXi, lmbind can run only on a physical machine connected to the VMware ESXi hypervisor.Task:To install lmbind for Linux1. Select a VMware ESX host, and download lmbind to this machine.2. Select a port number for the Agent to listen to. The default port number range is from 27010 through 27019, ifno port is specified while starting lmbind. (Any port is permitted as long as incoming and outgoingcommunication is enabled for that port.)3. To start lmbind, enter lmbind --port , where is the TCP port number you selected in Step 2.(See lmbind Command Line Options for more information.).
