If you set -adminOnly no, commandlineaccess to these utilities is unrestricted.(Access to related features in the lmadmin UI isgoverned separately by lmadmin logincredentials.)By default, lmadmin restricts command-lineaccess to these utilities. The default argument,-adminOnly yes, overrides other lmadmincommand-line options, such as-allow<strong>License</strong>Reclaim, -allowStopServer, and-allowRemoteStopServer.Restrictions vary depending on the operatingsystem on which lmadmin is running.On Windows, command-line access to theseutilities is completely restricted. If -adminOnlyyes is used when starting lmadmin, no user onWindows can shut down the license server withlmdown, nor can they use the lmswitch,lmswitchr, and lmnewlog command-line utilities.On UNIX, -adminOnly yes permits access by theroot user only, by default. However, if you definea UNIX group called lmadmin, then access ispermitted to members of that group only. (If rootis not a member of this group, then root doesnot have permission to use any of the aboveutilities.)-allow<strong>License</strong>ReclaimDefault —NoPersistent—YesSet from UI—NoControls the operation of lmremove. If set to yes,licenses can be reclaimed from a user.
