TO ENROLL IN A DEGREE OR CERTIFICATEPROGRAM:1. Complete and submit application with non-refundableone-time $20 application fee onlineat www.smccME.edu. Forms are also availableat the Enrollment Services office in the CampusCenter.2. Submit proof of high school graduation ortranscript, adult diploma and/or GED testscores.3. If transferring, submit official transcripts fromall colleges attended.4. Take placement test in English or math unlessexempted. Exemptions include SAT scoresof 490 Math and 450 Verbal or successfulcompletion of college level English or mathcourse.5. After acceptance, schedule an advisement appointment.6. Pay by cash, check, money order, VISA, MasterCard,Discover, or arrange a payment planthrough the Student Billing Office. Please havetranscripts and all other documents sent to theEnrollment Services Center at SMCC.ADD DROP AND WITHDRAWAL• Official drop within first five days of the semester(100% refund)• Official withdrawal within weeks 2-12 (Norefund)• Non-attendance of classes (No refund)• Course cancelled by the College (100%refund)TUITION & FEESTuition for credit courses is $82 per credit hour forMaine residents and $164 per credit hour for nonresidentstudents.
