Impairment PoliciesNear the end of the first symposium, participants developed some ideas forprojects that would begin to meet the Core Needs, with the commitment to pursuethese or <strong>other</strong> relevant projects in the time between the first <strong>and</strong> second symposia.Although the schedule of the second symposium did not permit presentations onthese projects by all participants, six people did address the group on their progressthus far. Their information is summarized in the “Project Highlight” boxes throughoutthis chapter.
