Operating the Instrument<br />
Settings menu<br />
Warning If you activate the Autorinse or Autoprime parameter, ensure<br />
that the wash heads are firmly attached. ▲<br />
The Prime & rinse parameters window has the following parameters:<br />
● Prime volume (Prime button) (ml) – The prime volume ranges<br />
from 5 ml to 100 ml in 1 ml increments. The default is 30 ml.<br />
● Predispense volume (ml) – The predispense volume ranges from 1<br />
ml to 20 ml in 1 ml increments or it can be set OFF. The default is<br />
5 ml.<br />
● Rinse volume (Rinse button) (ml) – The rinse volume ranges from<br />
5 ml to 100 ml in 1 ml increments. The default is 30 ml.<br />
● Autorinse – The washer can be programmed to rinse the system<br />
automatically using the rinse liquid with a selected volume. At the<br />
end of the run, the software starts to count down the selected time.<br />
30 seconds before the autorinse starts, the buzzer gives an audible<br />
sound and the remaining time is shown on the display. When the<br />
time reaches zero, rinsing starts.<br />
• Volume (ml) – The autorinse volume ranges from 5 ml to<br />
100 ml in 1 ml increments. The default is 30 ml.<br />
• Time (hh:mm) – The times range is from 00:00 (= Off) to<br />
12:00 in increments of 1 h or 1 min. The default is Off.<br />
● Autoprime – Periodically primes the instrument at a set interval to<br />
ensure that the instrument stays primed and ready to be used at all<br />
times. Autoprime is not recommended for long time intervals<br />
(overnight), instead, use the soak wash head function. Refer to<br />
“Soak wash head“ on page 78.<br />
• Volume (ml) – The autoprime volume ranges from 1 µl to<br />
30 µl in 1 µl increments. The default is 5 µl.<br />
• Time (hh:mm) – The time ranges from 0:00 (= Off) to 9:00<br />
in increments of 15 min. The default is Off.<br />
