Extended HorizontalIf the appliance cannot be sited close to anadjacent outside wall, it is possible toextend the telescopic flue with extensionducts and 90° or 45° elbows. Maximumallowable flue length varies betweenappliances and must be followed to ensuresafe and correct appliance operation asillustrated below. In calculating the fluelength the following must be considered:• Each duct extension measures 817mmwith a 767mm useable length(i.e. 50mm seal)•A 90° extension elbow has anequivalent length of 767mm - this isknown as the resistive length•A 45° extension elbow has a resistivelength of 375mmACE3000mm MAXIMUM FLUE LENGTH - requires 3 extensions•FINESTOuter Section - Telescopic Flue (supplied with boiler)•In extending the flue ducting it is alsopossible to raise or lower the horizontalducting. Ducting should not be loweredmore than 500mm.Fibre seal and “O” ring are supplied toseal between the appliance and the flangedelbow.
