1. The training center should have facilities in at least one area of disabilities related to thecourse.2. Should be able to have attachment with a hospital.3. Should be able to have attachment with rehabilitation centers related to disability areascovered under the syllabus.4. The Institutes should have an adequately furnished classroom with a toilet, office room,reference material.Faculty requirementThere would be minimum 2 core faculty for a maximum batch size of 20 students havingthe following qualifications.(a) One of the core faculties should be B.Sc. in Nursing/Psychatric Nursing/RehabilitationProfessional or General Nursing with minimum 3 years of practical experience.(b) There should be a Demonstrator or Co-trainer, who should be a RCI registered personin course related specialization with minimum three years experience.Component of the Scheme1. The project will involve selection, orientation and training of eligible persons forprofessional caregiving.2. Maintaining a unit for registration, placement, monitoring and replacement etc. ofprofessional caregivers in the post-training follow up period.3.
