For each transcript requested, there is a fee of $5 payable in advance.Requests for course descriptions may be submitted to the Office of EnrollmentManagement and the Registrar. There is a $5 fee for each request.Transcripts will be issued only when all financial obligations to the Collegehave been satisfied.Change of AddressStudents who change either their permanent home address or their localmailing address are expected to complete a change-of-address form at anycampus Continuing and Graduate Studies Office. Failure to notify the Divisionof Continuing and Graduate Studies Office of address changes maycause serious delays in the handling of student records and in notifying studentsin cases of emergency. Students who have moved and who have notcompleted a change-of-address form are not exempt from the consequencesof failing to receive official College notices and communications.Classification of Undergraduate StudentsMatriculation/Degree CandidacyA degree student is one who has been accepted to become a candidatefor the baccalaureate degree.Full-time/Part-time StatusFull-time degree candidates register for 12-18 credits per semester and areeligible for College housing and participation in varsity sports (provided theyare making satisfactory academic progress) and student activities; part-timedegree candidates register for fewer than 12 credits per semester and are notnormally eligible for College housing or for participation in varsity sportsand student activities.Students who wish to change their status from full-time to part-time mustnotify the Office of Enrollment Management and the Registrar and areadvised to consult the director of Financial Aid to determine whether thechange will affect any financial aid they may be receiving. Also see section inAcademic Policies for Satisfactory Progress to Degree Completion.Continuing Education StudentsA Continuing Education student is a student who has officially registeredthrough the Continuing Education Division, and whose primary course loadat Curry is in evening, weekend, or off-site classes. Normally, a ContinuingEducation student will register for up to 15 credits within a combinationof terms during a semester with no more than nine credits taken simultaneously.Any Continuing Education student who chooses to take a course inthe day will pay tuition and fees for such a course commensurate with thestandard full-time (i.e., day) rate. Candidates for graduation from Curry College must have a minimumof 30 credits in the classroom as matriculated students. A minimumof 12 credits must ordinarily be course work in the area of the majorand a minimum of six credits from two different subject areas must bein the liberal arts, outside the area of the major on the 2000 or 3000level.IV.Students may follow an educational program based on any of theCatalogs in effect while they are matriculated students at the College.Official declaration of choice must be made and registered with theOffice of Enrollment Management and the Registrar in October ofthe academic year in which the student expects to graduate. Failure toregister this information by the due date may result in a delay of astudent’s graduation.
